Welcome to Episode 30 of The Main Thing Podcast and another dose of wisdom!  I’m your host, Skip Lineberg.

I am thrilled to introduce you to my special guest, Charles Ryan.

Charles Ryan had an illustrious career in business, first as a TV news reporter & anchorman … then as founder & CEO of the advertising agency Charles Ryan & Associates. Later he served as the Dean of the University of Charleston Graduate School of Business. He continues to consult in the areas of media and spokesperson training.

He is a member of the West Virginia University Business Hall of Fame, the West Virginia Broadcasters Hall of Fame and recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Charles is an author who has published six books. His latest is titled “Murder on Staunton Road,” and it’s an investigative look at a mysterious unsolved murder case from decades ago in Charleston, West Virginia.

Charles and his wife Becky make their home in the Lancaster, South Carolina area. He is a proud and active grandfather who is blessed to have four grandchildren.

Get ready! Over the next 9-minutes you will discover why Charles Ryan is truly one of the wisest people I know.
