Welcome to The Main Thing. This is your new 9-minute podcast. I’m your host Skip Lineberg. I’ve set out to interview the wisest people I know. We will see what we can learn from each one when they are faced with an incredibly difficult, soul-piercing question.
My guest today is Bobby Wilson, a software developer and athlete. In his professional career, Bobby has written software for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He also worked for a decade as a futures trader.
In the athletic arena, Bobby has competed in college football and track & field. Courageous in the face of challenges, he has completed the Alcatraz Open Water Swim five times, and he also swam the length of the Golden Gate Bridge in the San Francisco Bay. At his core, he is and always will be a quarterback and a true leader. And he’s one of the wisest people I know.
In this new episode you’ll find gain insight into Bobby’s approach to life, including his strong mental game. You’ll also learn what unique morsel of wisdom he has chosen to share with us.
